European Innovation Council Summit 2018

winner, Food-Agritech pitch competition

At the 2018 EIC Innovators Summit in Berlin, FreshDetect CEO Oliver Dietrich was selected by a jury of investors, venture capitalists, and business angels as the winner of the pitch competition in the Food-Agritech category.

Horizon 2020

EU funding for FreshDetect GmbH, 2018

The European Union is funding the high-tech startup FreshDetect GmbH as part of its Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. The funding is intended to facilitate the distribution and use of the BFD-100 handheld device.

Seal of Excellence European Commission, 2017

The “Seal of Excellence” is a quality seal awarded by the European Commission. It is granted to project proposals that have been certified as high-quality as part of the review process for “Horizon 2020″—the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation.
