About ODC
ODC stood for “Oliver Dietrich Consulting” when it was founded, a freelance consulting firm that Oliver founded after leaving IdentTechnology in 2011.
In 2012, ODC launched the “FreshDetect” project, which Oliver co-founded in 2013 and subsequently managed as CEO until 2019. When FreshDetect completed the “Series A” financing round in 2015, Oliver transferred ODC to “ODC & Management GmbH” in order to transfer and manage FreshDetect and other shares to the GmbH.

About Oliver
Oliver’s passion is to contribute to solving the entrepreneurial challenges of start-ups and scale-ups in a real-world way.
Oliver’s professional career began after studying business administration in Aachen. In the early years of his career, he found his passion in the up-and-coming mobile communications industry and gained valuable experience. His quest for personal development eventually led him to Madrid, where he completed an MBA (IE) and lived for several years.
Today, Oliver can look back on over 25 years of diverse professional experience in medium-sized companies and start-ups. He has already worked in various functions and in different countries. Oliver has been able to deepen his expertise in industries such as ITC, consulting & coaching, consumer electronics, food & agTec and e-mobility. The combination of business development and sales is particularly close to his heart.
Since launching his own boutique consultancy ODC-Management GmbH in 2011 and founding a FoodTech start-up in 2013, Oliver has been active as an entrepreneur.
In addition to his role at ODC, Oliver is dedicated to coaching management teams as a coach at scale up. His voluntary work as a juror and coach at Science4Life and the Munich Business Plan Competition underlines his commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship.
In his private life, the Munich native is married, has two grown-up sons and is passionate about sports in the mountains. He regularly commutes between Munich and Barcelona (Sitges).
