Our values
Five values we let ourselves be measured by:
- Humbly confident — competence without arrogance.
- Help first — we think in solutions, not in remits.
- Do the right thing — even when it is uncomfortable.
- Do what you say — and if you cannot, say so in advance.
- Team and client first.
What drives Oliver is that companies should be able to run without their owner. He has founded, financed and scaled himself — and has also had to close a company down.
His path began after a business degree in Aachen, in mobile telecoms, the industry that turned everything upside down in the nineties. Then Madrid, an MBA at IE Business School, and spent several years in strategic consulting, including a stint at Arthur D. Little.
The line-management years followed: country manager for Spain and Portugal, then finance, HR and IT at D-Link for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Responsibility for numbers, people and structure at the same time, for the first time.
Today, Oliver supports management teams at owner-managed companies and implements operating systems until they can run without him.
Since 2014 he has been a juror and coach at Science4Life and at the Munich Business Plan Competition — on a voluntary basis, to this day.
A native of Munich, he is married, has two grown-up sons and is keen on sport in the mountains.
